The Institute of Connected Commerce accelerates with the Michel Koch as new MD
Since 2012, the “Institut du Commerce Connecté” (Institute of Connected Commerce) has established themselves as the think-tank of reference dedicated to connected commerce. Seminars, conferences, learning expeditions, training, thematic clubs, interactions with startups…. The ICC has been trusted by more than 100 retail businesses to help them transform digitally. In a spirit of open innovation, ICC operates with dozens of experts around the key challenges of connected commerce and upskilling managers in retail.
hen he launched Sony Music’s first website in France, he then held several e-commerce director positions in both B2C and B2B companies in France and internationally (Bertelsmann, Manutan, Quelle, Conrad, Camaïeu). In early 2013, Michel relocated to the London to join retailer Marks & Spencer to help grow their international e-commerce, and more recently led the marketing transformation and e-commerce initiatives at media giant TIME inc. UK as CMO.
This nomination will enable ICC to confirm it’s growth and contribution to the reinvention of French retail, working with both retailers, startups and technology service providers. The ICC is the only entity to offer services such as business intelligence, market awareness, events and expert education under the leadership of a senior e-commerce practitioner.
Michel will be supported in his role by ICC’s key shareholders : Cédric Ducrocq, president of the DIa-Mart Group ; and Jérôme Gayet, founder of B.DC (digital retail consulting) and co-founder of
the Institute of Connected Commerce.
